1987 k1500
I have a chance to buy an 87 K1500 4X4, Short stepside, complete, original, needing paint and interior, Power Steering, Power Brakes, 350 4bbl, TH350, no rust, for $2300. It was running until the husband died, and has been sitting for a couple of years. Is this a good deal??

Re: 1987 k1500
Depends on if it will fire up still or not I suppose. Wonder why they got rid of the TBI and put a carb on it? You sure it is not an 86 model? K1500 would be 86 and down, an 87 would be a V1500.
Photos are worth a 1000 words as well.

Re: 1987 k1500
Oops, I got my year reversed, it is a 78, not an 87.

Make sure it runs, drives, and 4x4 works. Personally I would go $1500-$1800. But it just depends on how much its worth to you. Its a pretty cool truck for sure

Re: 1987 k1500
Everyone has one, just remember that, don't let mine make you upset. I would not venture close to even a grand on it. I'd offer about $800 IF it fired up. It might be all original, but it's all original and worn out and needing replaced.
