we've all had our fair share of mess ups haha

ive been working on the truck alot lately, i gotta get some updated pictures of it for you guys, some of the updates include adjustable billet aluminum shifter mount, new aluminum door panels, titanium carb linkage... lots of stuff....

but anyway.. since about a month after we fired it for the first time (almost 2 years ago) it only ran at like 11.5 volts. i sat there with test lights, and voltmeters for hours trying to figure it out, it didnt make sense, brand new hi amp alternator, brand new battery, fresh custom wiring on the whole truck (by my neighbor who is an electrician.) we then realized the main wire from the alternator going to a post which powers the relays for my fuel pump, fans, and water pump, was getting hot, didnt make sense, it was either 8 or 10 guage wire, i forget, and we realized my charging system shutdown relay was fried, so we thought we found the mystery problem... nope. new relay, same thing happened... then we finally found the problem hahahahahaha the freakin positive post on the back of the alternator was grounding off the front motor plate hahahahahah so i fixed that... problem solved it runs at 14 like it should

hopefully im not the only one here making stupid obvious mistakes hahaha

notice anything WRONG with that word 'ONE' of the batteries

Those jumper cables sure did get hot,,, and the company car had charging problems soon after LOL
