need help with trans issue
found a trans out of a 95 camaro v6 will it fit behind a v8 looking for a 5 spd or 6 spd for my 57 chevy pickup thanks

Unless you are going to run bucket seats you may run into shift handle clearance problems with a Camaro trans and bench seat. At least that should be a consideration.
Do you know what engine was in front of the transmission? that may make a difference in the way it hooks up to an engine and be an issue. If it is a T 5 like this one on Ebay you should be able to hook it up somewhat easily. http://www.ebay.com/itm/T5-BORG-WARN...92fb89&vxp=mtr |

The bellhousing on the transmission will not bolt up to a V8. Also the T5's had a different spline count for V6 and V8...IIRC 17 spline for V6 and 27 spline for V8.

thanks really havnt throught bout motor yet i do u it will be a mild small block i guess i should find one from a v8 i guess really nothn out here in va without spending 1500 to 2000 $$
