my former pro street/drag truck
thought I would post in here. This is my old truck that I sold in 06,but it was fun while I had it.It had a 454 w/ovals on it,10 to 1 pump gas motor. It would run 7.0's all day in the eighth,,got a 6.98 twice but that was it.It was 3400pds race ready.

Re: my former pro street/drag truck
I am currently working on a 66 short fleetside, there is a build thread under SANFORD build. I sold the truck at Super Chevy,Commerce in 06.About two weeks later people were calling saying it was in Summit on the spin tables.I know it has changed hands several times. The guy that had it in Pigeon forge thought highly of it.I havent seen it in a couple years now.

Re: my former pro street/drag truck
Yes, I remember e-mailing back and forth, also. Everything's good on my end; I hope all's well on yours. Your old truck was one of THE nicest 60-66s that I've ever seen! Yeah, definitely keep us updated on your new project. Good chattin' with you!

Re: my former pro street/drag truck
This truck is one of Favorites!
Hopefully my hood (when it's done) will look that way. I like the stripes scheme on this truck. The truck over all looks very clean and you can tell it is professionally built. Wish I could see it up close! This is my new inspiration jhrusk!

Re: my former pro street/drag truck
Thanks guys,I appreciate all the comments.I am disappointed I dont have more pics of it.Growing up when I first got into hot rods I used to ask people about certain things and I often heard you cant do that or it wont work so I got the attitude as I got a little older I would decide if something could be done or not.Now I have had to learn a lot of things the hard way but I also learned that looking back on some things that they could have been done after all. That truck was far from professional but it turned out pretty good for the experience and tools I had. Thanks again guys and if anybody has questions let me know.
