Classic Industries Tach Conversion Kit?
Has anyone used the Classic Industries Tach conversion kit with HEI? Their add says not for use with HEI but from what I have read it's to cover for low quality parts. I am a little hesitant to fork out the 300 bucks if my HEI will cook it. Anyone?

Re: Classic Industries Tach Conversion Kit?
Mine might have been LMC, but had the same "No HEI" warning. Search the forums for "HEI Tach" and you'll find a wealth of information.
In short mine worked fine with HEI, but I have not cross-checked the accuracy and its too soon to say anything about the longevity.

Re: Classic Industries Tach Conversion Kit?
Thanks Dave. I have looked and some have had success with the coversion kits and others not so much. Classic has a 20% off sale until midnight so I was considering picking one up. Other suppliers have the same looking setup and don't have the 'no HEI' designation.
Anyone else?
