That K5 looks nice, I would trade. Gotta give us a little more info on it though.

Re: Good trade??

K5 is a 91, 350 tbi, lift kit, 33's, 153k, has minimal rust for the year, drivers rocker is junk, inner fender has minor rust, and the rear window won't roll down(switch), interior is nice for the year also. Burban is a 92, 350, 2wd, has rust in rear by where bumper mounts, hillbilly patch job of rockers by po, however, the inside is extremely clean for year.

They sound pretty much the same to me. Go with what you want more 4WD smaller vehicle or 2WD bigger vehicle.

Re: Good trade??

Be careful on what is actually wrong with the rear window on the K5. Getting those operational can be a major expense.
Otherwise, I'd be all over that K5, unless I needed room to haul 6 people.

Re: Good trade??

About the rear window, I've had many Blazers over the years and I've fixed all the tailgate windows. Every K5 I got except for one, needed the rear window to be fixed. Replace the window motor and drive cable and you should be good to go. The motors fail commonly from years of use and the cables seize because the grease inside them from the factory turns to cement after 20 years.

Re: Good trade??

Are the motors cables readily available? And how hard is it to replace? Thanks for heads up

Re: Good trade??

The cable is available from LMCTruck and it is pretty cheap. The motors are a bit on the expensive side ($80+), but they can be found on eBay, in junkyards, etc.

Right on, doesn't sound too bad! Any other areas I should look for?
