67-72 asst. parts

Here's what I got, and wanting to know if they're worth anything.

250 I6 power steering-complete minus box and hoses
250 I6 complete engine, unknown miles, heat rise choke manifold, 1bbl carb
250 I6 complete engine, unknown mileage, manual choke-currently in truck and running.
(2) 3 speed tranny's- both work, one complete with linkage and shifter,
(1) 3/4-1 ton 4 speed trans, bench shifts
327 small block heads-I believe these to be the small valve heads
327 small block, stock bore, needs tanked.
Original stepside shortbed, excellent condition with good tailgate.

Any help or quotes are appreciated, trying to decide if I should sell or scrap out. Thanks again, as always.

Re: 67-72 asst. parts

Not sure on the 6 cylinder stuff, but I would definitely not be scrapping the 327 stuff or the stepside bed. Toss em up on here, or craigslist if you don't mind the tire kickers/endless emails.

I'd have a hard time thinking a good rust free or minimal rust bed/tailgate combo would be worth at least $300-400 to someone looking to swap from fleet or upgrade from a rotten bed.

I'd think the 327 heads would be $50-$100 on craigslist as is. If the block is in need of only a hone, or just a minimal overbore I could see someone paying $100-150 for it bare.

Quick money would be to scrap it but you will definately get more money out of it if you sell it and there is someone that is needing this stuff. It is just hard to find them sometimes.

From what I have seen by searching the p/s stuff could be worth around $100.00. If the brackets, pulleys, and pump are all there and good, possibly more.

I have never had any good with selling engines but I would suggest trying to sell them complete and if that does not work I would advertise them to part out because I am sure there are guys needing something off of them and then scrap what is left if it does not sell. The running engine, I would leave it in the truck until it sells so that you can show how good it runs, noises, ect. If you need to pull it first I would suggest trying to record a video of it running to show possible buyers.

Transmission are the same way if you can not sell them complete try parting them out. Sell the shiffter, linkage, side covers, nose cones ect. seperate then scrap what is left. Even if you only get 20-30 out of the parts the scap the rest it would be that much more than scrap price.

Re: 67-72 asst. parts

The power steering for a 6 should bring about $75 bucks.

The engines i never could sell. 6's don't sell that well. So whatever you can get is good.

Tranny,s i usually give away. Sorry, i do. Automatics sell well. 3 speeds i scrap. Sold a few 4 speeds to the guys that had 3 speeds. 4 speed $75 bucks.

327 heads.....If they have no cracks $75.00-100.00 bucks.

327 block. If its clean and can be bored out $200.00 give or take. Gotta find the right person though.

Stepside beds sell. I am looking for one right now.
If the bedsides are not too beat up. Wood floor doesnt matter. Anyone will install new wood.
Anywhere from $200-600.00 depending on condition.

If you list the bed for sale on the parts board please let me know. As i may not see it.
