Where can I get this grill??
This was recently posted on another thread, and it is exactly
what I have been looking for, for my truck. Could anyone out there tell me where I can buy one? I know it is a '72 outer grill, but what type of center grill is that?? I like the spacing of it, and I feel many are too close together. I want to replace my '70 bumper with a '72, and go with the new outer grill Any help would be awesome!! ![]()

Don't know about the grill, but who's truck is that? You have any more pictures of it, if so post them, I like the way he has the rearend set up in it. By the way Dano, did you get the one wire alt installed yet
Sam

Yeah I did Sam, Thanks for all the help!!!
Charges like a champ, and it really cleaned up the wiring under the hood!! ![]() I just copied that photo off of the "red trucks" thread. Dont know who's it is, but the stance and the width of that rearend is perfect!! Thanks Alexis, I will check out their site.

I took that picture at one of our local cruise ins last fall. I didn't get a chance to speak with the owner. Hopefully, we will see the truck again this Summer at some of the local shows.

DanoDmano, that is the same grill I have in my Blazer. I bought it from JC Whitney about 5 years ago.
Hey I have a 3 year old never been used Billit Phantom grill I would be willing to sell if you might be interested?

I like both trucks in this post, if only they would put a stock inner grill shell in them
So what is the topic here?

Just foolin' guys
Truth is I don't like tube grills. But diversity is what makes the world go round.

woops, i thought i forgot to put something
![]() take out and clean up the old plastic insert (yeah you gotta scrub those bugs off finally ![]() clean it up, paint it gloss black, and get the chrome "tape" like you can get at autozone to put on the horizontal bars (i would still paint the chrome on it too incase any of the tape fell off, you'd at least still have a silver look)

Dano.. send me some pics of your 70 grill & bumper. I'm sort of collecting them right now, till I decide which is the best to put on my truck. Oh, that is if your going to get rid of it ! Blue_71...I didn't even notice it wasn't a tube grill by the pic, until your painting instructions!! Looks as good as the real thing!
