Ever see on of these?

Turned around in a driveway and saw this. Looks like a 1957 chevy Ice Cream truck. I wonder if it was ordered as a cab and chassis. Rare??

Re: Ever see on of these?

It would of came from the factory with the chassis and everything to the firewall of the body then a body manufacture would of put the rest on it

Re: Ever see on of these?

That would make an interesting camper/tow rig.

I think you nailed it on the cab and chassis deal and there is probably a tag on the inside of the body with the body builder's info on it.

Re: Ever see on of these?

Probably custom body made from this. The Factory Assy manual shows them shipped with the steering wheel supported with a wood frame and a box of misc parts.

If I go back, I'll get the vin #. If he would sell, what would be a fair offer?
