bumper brackets ?'s
Finally broke down and bought me a new Goodmark bumper for the rear of my 69. When my grandpa had the truck on the farm they just welded up a bumper that would work. so i ahve no brackets and i went to the local junk yard and they only have 4 trucks that ive pretty well robbed all the parts so far off of. So now I'm wondering is there any other model years that will work for brackets the bumper only has 2 holes per side too
attached a pic of the bumper i hope

I bought my brackets from scotts super truck in penhold, If Im not mistaken they were like 25 bucks each, by the time you piss around trying to make them, and usually the bracket you make doesn't fit the contour of the bumper right

I'm sure that there are some board members that sell them. LMC has the whole set for $60 if not, and they are often high on their prices.

pissonNOS, I don't know if you were gonna try to make some, but unless you have a set to use as a model(which you obviously don't), it's really hard to get the proper angles and get the holes drilled in the right spot.......i know, cuz I tried to make some!!! let's just say that I think i'll be buying a set in the future

Put a 'want to buy" add on the parts board. You'll probably get a few offers to choose from. The rear brackets aren't that uncommon.

what i was planning to do is since I already have brackets of the exact angle (farmer fix) was to cut them off at the bumper and weld 2 21inch x 3 inch and the weld that to the other brackets on my frame ?
