1967 Chevy 4x4 Project!
Alright guys, I've been a member here for going on a year now doing research and learning a lot about these trucks. I've finally decided its time to get serious about my truck and have decided for the most part what direction I wanna go with this thing. I will post progress as often as possible but progress will be slow until I finish up my dads 2000 k2500 ccsb 4x4 I'm building for him. So far here's what I have in mind. I plan on building this thing from the ground up. I think this will be a fun build, but I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions along the way, so thanks in advance.
14 bolt rear dana 60 front 12v ctd nv4500 or possibly an auto (havent decided yet) I plan to redo the interior pretty much stock in black. And the plan for the body is to make it straight and paint in Chianti Red. And have all the trim, chromed. Also plan to stick with the lift thats on the truck, only move up to a 37'' tire and 18'' wheels. Anywhere here's what I'm starting with |

That is a good looking truck the way it sits now. I look forward to the build.

Re: 1967 Chevy 4x4 Project!
I just bought a 67 4X4 short bed, it's pretty rough but worth saving. Someone has done some less than desirable welding where the front leaf spring perch sit on the frame. Its very hard for me to figure out whats been done....can you by chance shoot a picture of that area on yours so I can take a look? thanks
