Re: oil dipstick sleeve
Most likely you'll have to drop the oil pan to get it.

Re: oil dipstick sleeve
try an ez out a little smaller than the tube, do not drive it in, just push it in by hand, then work the tube out, just be careful not dig into the block itself

Re: oil dipstick sleeve
Tap the tube. As in try to make threads in it. Either the tap make the tube start to spin or you will get enough threads on there to put a bolt in and pull the tube out. It works we have done it before. Just make sure you go slow.

Re: oil dipstick sleeve
I have always used a tapered 3/8 bolt (like a fender bolt) with the big washer and a 1/2 inside diameter nut and tightened the bolt through the nut into the broke piece in the block . Have never had one not come out this way yet

They are two pieces, just put some locktite on the top piece and stick it back in. No need to remove the bottom part.

Re: oil dipstick sleeve
Well it snapped off clean with the block, and if I put a screw in there or bolt to try n get it out won't little metal shavings fall into my oil from the bolt digging not the new metal.

Re: oil dipstick sleeve
Sorry, I did not realize that it snapped off. Pack some grease into the tube, then try the bolt. Most of the grease should come out with the tube, along with shavings.
