Softtopper soft top still requires holes?
I am considering purchasing one of these softtopper tops because I hate having to get 4 people together to lift my fiberglass top when I want to take it off. From the research I have done the softopper requires drilling into the windshield frame? I hate the thought of drilling holes into my blazer! Can someone please post a pic so I know exactly what holes I am going to be drilling into my beautiful blazer?

Re: Softtopper soft top still requires holes?
Do a search. One of the board members just posted his solution to installing a softopper without holes in the windshield. He made a header that bolts down to the factory hardtop mounts that he put the screw into.

Re: Softtopper soft top still requires holes?
There is an aluminum strip with snaps on it that goes across the top of the windshield frame. There are 5 snaps that have self-tapping metal screws on them that hold the snap strip to the frame. The other snaps come spot welded to the strip. If you have a double wall top tell them when you order and they will send you undrilled side rails as the ones normally shipped are pre drilled for single wall top holes in the bed rails if I remember correctly.
