Airbag tank/compressor etc ?
Been searching but haven't really found my answer yet. Thinking of doing bags but just want front and back not side to side. What setups are some of you guys running that wasn't too expensive for tank/compressor valves etc. The basic set for just that is like 1000$ for ridetech. thx

You should ask in the suspension section.

Re: Airbag tank/compressor etc ?
I have used ride techs set ups in the last three bag jobs I have done and am using the same one on my '63. Great stuff. My buddy has been using his for over 15 years with no issues.

Re: Airbag tank/compressor etc ?
I would encourage you to do the FBSS setup. Not to ride sideways or anything but the truck could lean when you get in it, it will roll pretty bad in longer turns and could even lean at low pressure with just a F&B setop. I ran a F&B setup on my old truck with a swaybar which helped but when I switched it I was much happier.
My new rig had a similar setup and I just finished switching that over too. If you are going with manual valves the cost isn't too much worse. Worth the extra $$ though.

Re: Airbag tank/compressor etc ?
Good advice! You will be disappointed in the way your truck leans around corners if you don't go with four corner controls.

Re: Airbag tank/compressor etc ?
yep. all it is is 4 switches (running individual lines to each bag) and 2 gauges (showing pressure of each bag)

Re: Airbag tank/compressor etc ?
I also recommend the FBSS setup for the same reasons mentioned above. Let me know if we can help you out. We have put together our own kits that have everything you need to plumb right into the bags. Whether it be a single compressor system or dual compressor system.
Both of those system are around $1,000, but if you want something even more affordable, we have a manual valve setup for $575. 1/4" Manual Valve Air Management System We do have out Pro2 on special this month which is the dual compressor air management system. If you're interested in any air management system we carry, just let me know and I can help you out and save you some money. Travis |
