Couldn't see anything worth saving. I have never seen one so rusted!! regards

I grew up in Newfoundland, I picked up a suburban 61-62 once for a few interior parts. It was so rusty that the entire roof skin lifted off.
This one reminded me of that old girl, even a very similar colour. |

I never knew that rubber would rust
the steel belts must have rusted from the inside out. I am surprised no one commented on the fact that the cab had a 20 year head start on the 80's stepside bed... yikes

I suspect the original owner opted not to get the dealer installed rust-proofing installed.
