69 C10 Duramax Diesel 9.91@143mph
Finally got my new motor and turbo setup done. I went to the dyno and made 925HP 1425ftlbs on the small race tune, and on the big race tune it broke the tires open on the dyno and still made 1000.6HP 1525ftlbs. After we got done with the dyno we went out to the track and ran a 9.95@142mph on the small race tune. I blew the trans up so I'm sure it will go faster once I get the trans fixed and the suspension dialed in. On the video of the drag strip run you can here the trans snap at the line and on the 3-4 shift the truck looses traction and goes side ways. That is a bad feeling when you can feel the tires brake open at the speed going down the track.

Brett, were you able install the window net? Did it fit well?

Re: 69 C10 Duramax Diesel 9.91@143mph
Yeah, it came in Saturday. Danville Performance brought it out to me and I installed it at the race. It fits like a glove. Thanks again so much for getting it done so fast.
I blew the trans up Saturday in first round of eliminations. I'm trying to get it back together for next weekend, so I can make it to the race in Minnesota.

Re: 69 C10 Duramax Diesel 9.91@143mph
Glad to hear the window net fit well.
I'm wondering if increasing the line pressure and program a little defuel at the shifts will help with trans life and traction.

bcdeutsch731 Damn man, beauty truck! looks and sounds like 3rd gear is FUN, gotta love the torque when your 83mm lights. Im currently in the process of building up my 68 24valve 5.9 with a mark goal of 800rwhp but your durty 69 would walk all over that any day.
