Where can I get a shift boot for a high-hump granny gear 4-speed?

My '69 GMC with an NP435 granny gear 4-speed needs a new floor shift boot. I see that a lot of places sell 4-speed shift boots, but they are all low profile round ones. I need one that is humped up. Where can I find one of these?

http://www.tomsbroncoparts.com/produ...5-transmission Would something like this work? I'm not real familiar with np435s. Lots of results through google, although most relate to ford.

I've been looking for one myself, have yet to find one. If you find the proper one, be sure to post where.

nate g, thanks for the link.

If you're restoring - then this won't help. But I wanted something that looked "kinda" stock for my T5 conversion. Did some experimentation and came up with this as my best candidate. I needed something to fit over my Hurst shifter guts, so plenty of room to cover your granny.

I used a 67-76 Chrysler A-Body 3 or 4 speed boot (Dart, Valiant, Duster, Demon, etc)

I guess the question is,are original shifter boots reproduced? It seems simple enough. If no one makes these, they should start. There's plenty 4spd trucks out there. Not all trucks getting restored,or just driven, are automatics.

Yep, it would be nice to see reproductions. I know one thing, they can't use mine to make a mold!

If these are in repo, I haven't seen it yet. I'm not doing a restoration and don't really care about originality. I just want something that'll cover the top of the hump and seal to the shifter. Jocko, I'm going to check out the one you got because it may be close enough to work.
