Bench seats?
Hey
So I have been looking through sites and ebay and haven't really come up with anything. Does anyone recommend a place to search or keep my eye on for a 1950 bench seat? Or do you have recommendations on what year bench seat would fit our truck well? Thanks in advice!

Re: Bench seats?
If I still have it I will give you what I have left of mine I might have a complete seat between the two trucks I have. The bottom is gone on the one out of my 49 but I have a 53 in a field on a friend's farm I think it has the bottom I'll have to check and make sure I still have the 49 at school.
Joe p.s the 49 is in Jeff City

Thank you both for the recommendation! I checked out the site and looks great Bookmarked it for when we are ready to get the seat finished. How is the pricing? Fair?

Re: Bench seats?
My seat was $210 shipped but I live maybe 45 mins from the shop...I thought it was pretty fair considering you pay the same or more for LMC and what not

Re: Bench seats?
That's a decent price for sure. Man, wish I had known about them when we lived in TN! Haha! Just moved out of there a few months ago :P

Re: Bench seats?
Yeah, the only bad thing is since they are custom made to order it does take several weeks to get the item

Re: Bench seats?
Just means I can justify getting our seat completed now, instead of waiting

Re: Bench seats?
Stephanie,
No 49 seat at school but I have the 52(not 53) in a field in Rocheport Mo. that I need to get to school for parts, I hope to get it to Jeff city by the first of the school year, You can have the seat and maybe a few other parts you need, I am happy to give it to some one that can use them. I was hoping to have it out of the field by now but it hasn't worked out yet. Joe

Re: Bench seats?
I believe it has a complete seat I am sure it will need redone but if you don't have a seat it will be a starting point. I will have the truck in Jeff City Mo about 50 miles (give or take) north of St Robert Mo. I will let you know as soon as I get it to Jeff. I have pile of parts from my 49 I holding on to just in case but I am limited to what I can keep around, I mostly need body panels off the 52 I won't need the engine or transmission

As for parts, will you be needing the grille, grille lower support, or the hood latch panel? Those are smashed up really bad on ours, so I am keeping my eye out for those pieces. Any you would be willing to part with/sell?
