My new 1982 silverado sw 4x4

I am having problems with the reverse on the truck when i put it in reverse it kinda bogs. its a auto and rebuilt. it also doesnt accelerate fast, or as fast as i think it should. it has a 350 crate with a holley street avenger carb. i think it may be to big of cfm for the engine i think its a 750cfm. any help will be appreciated. also how does the kickdown hook up?

if that is the size it is way to big. go with a 650. and then adjust the kickdown.u might be flooding the motor out. check your oil pull the dip stick and smell it. if it smells like gas the thats it.
