Body Swap
I am planning to put an '86 C20 cab & bed on a '77 K20 chassis. What kind of problems should I be expecting? THANKS

Re: Body Swap
Make sure you use the body bushings for the 77. Other than that you need to use the front bumper brackets from the 86 if you are using 80's fenders. It is a straight forward process.

Re: Body Swap
Is the C20 a standard transmission or an auto? Transmission tunnel might be your only real obstacle.

Re: Body Swap
Thanks guys! Ghetto, No front bumper, it's a plow truck. Randy, the c20 was a low hump but I unbolted the high hump from the K20 used it as a pattern to cut out the low hump. The rear cab mounts look different, am I going to have to do some fabrication on them?
