Porterbuilt Stage 1 Rear Kit?

Got my Porterbuilt Stage 1 Rear Kit in from Travis at Pro Performance and started working on it today. BTW Travis has been great help.

Was searching the forum for any pics of this kit installed to make sure I am headed in the right direction but can't seem to find any.

Any pics or tips of anything you guys ran into would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Rob

Just came across this right now.... the kit looks great installed! The front kit should be on it's way soon. Thanks for posting some pictures up and the good mention.

How did you mount the cup to the frame? Did you have to drill two holes in the frame? It looks like I'm missing two shock relocater brackets based on your pic as well.

The upper cup is located using the original coil spring mounting hole and supplied hardware. There are also upper and lower shock relocator mounts included
in the kit. Let us know what you are missing so we can make sure you get taken care of.

This pic you posted lolife has his truck lower than it was at GG... Am I missing some part of his build? What did he change to get the couple extra inches?

I don't know.
You might ask him.
Added lowering block?
Removed inner fenders?
Don't know.

Re: Porterbuilt Stage 1 Rear Kit?

Those are 4 shock studs for the shocks, that go into the shock relocator brackets.

Thanks!

Any idea on the spacers? I couldn't see any of this hardware in any of their pics and its not listed in the hardware on the invoice.

The small zinc coated bushings are for the shocks. They reduce the bore to 1/2 for the mounting points that do not use the studs. Hope that helps! Happy Fourth!

Re: Porterbuilt Stage 1 Rear Kit?

For sure! I have the PB notch and trac bar, but I got my shock brackets from Speedway (CPP). Also have 1.5" blocks in the rear, and Stage 1 kit in the front with McGaughy's 2.5" spindles. I got all my PB stuff from Travis @ ProPerformance. If I ever do it again, I am going to go with a full kit. You don't save anything, really, by putting something together on your own. I am happy with the way my suspension turned out, and Travis's advice and Porterbuilt's quality played a big role!
