63 C60 fuel gauge
Just got an old c60 from a farmer. Once I finally got it home, old fuel and clogged filters, I pulled the sender and cleaned out the pickup tube. Figured out why the gauge doesn't work. The float was shot and the strap from the resistor to the pin was broke. Could solder it but the resistor itself is pretty bad. Did find some sending units for 1/2 to 1 ton but nothing for a C60. Are they the same? Or where should I look for 1?

Depends on the size of the tank that was ordered for the truck. I would think there would be a slight difference in the length of the float arm but Empty is Empty!

Re: 63 C60 fuel gauge
they only made 2 tanks for in the cab. if yours goes all the way to the pass side it is the bigger 25 gallon, if it stops short by about 10 inches it is the 18, but I think the sending unit is the same for all these tanks.
