Brothers Show
went to the Brothers Show today and met some members of the board there.
Bam, BC Toy Chest, V Dog, Hot rod 1, Kustombrad, Chevy Resto guy and a bunch from the 67-72 section that my old brain has trouble remembering the screen names of. It's great to be able to put faces to the guys we talk on line to. Also took a few pics. Kim |

Re: Brothers Show
It sure was great!. The trucks were great eye candy, but it was more fun taking to the forum members about the trucks. It is amazing how different people look at a vehicle and what they pick up on. It helps to have others looking and pointing out things that you may not see otherwise. I always learn a lot.
I did not even look at the boat. Was that really a V24? |

Re: Brothers Show
It was a great time meeting up again with with Bam and Kim and finally meeting BCToychest, VDog, Youngsta, Dino, and Delmo (and countless others). The show seems to get better every year. It's funny how Bam and I always talk about the fact that we have to quit being spectators and start being participants. You too, Kim!
The truck that blew me away was Hilton Vail's black '55 Chevy. Off the hook, and built completely at home by one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet. The execution and attention to detail were amazing. You'll be seeing a lot of this truck in the upcoming magazines.

Re: Brothers Show
Yep Hilton Vail is a really nice guy and its great to talk to someone that knows about their car at a car show. I've been to car shows lately and the person that owns the car can't tell you anything about it. Hilton touched every piece of that black truck and was loaded with info, pics, and knowledge. Its hard to believe something on that level was done in a home garage. It just shows us what we can do if we put our minds to it.
Oh and by the way its not bagged.lol Hilton's truck From the LA Roadster Show Last edited by Kabwe; 07-09-2012 at 05:29 PM. |

Hey Bam:
We talked about TIG welding at the show. Have you ever seen all the videos at welding tips and tricks? He is a good teacher and the videos are good. |
