Gas tank questions?

I have an 81 C-10 project that currently has one tank on the drivers side, can I remove that one altogether and put a tank in back between the frame rails? I will be lowering it with a 4.5 / 6 static drop with 20's in the future. Just curious if this can be done and if so, where can I buy a gas tank that would fit right there? Is this a common swap? Thanks in advance.

Suburban tank from rockauto.com. They come in 28, 32 and 40 gallon. Use the 28 gallon. The only problem with this swap is you can't run your exhaust out the back.

Why can't I see the pics from the other link you gave me from 502SS's thread? I just see red X's ??? Maybe it's because I'm at work or something but I really want to see the pics he has on there showing how he hinged the tail light assembly since that is the way I plan on going with mine.

Any help seeing them??
