Question Grill Removal?

Stupid question, but I really don't want to break anything... I started to take my grill off, three phillips screw up top, I didn't see anything else so I pulled a little. The bottom stays snug and if you look down you can see little plastic button type deals.. How do I take it out? I don't have to remove the radiator do i? Thanks in advance for my dumb questions

Re: Grill Removal?

There are some screws along the bottom of the grill too. Don't keep pulling or you'll break it.

Re: Grill Removal?

I beleive there are 3 on the bottom as well. The one in the middle is a PITA to get. May have to take the shroud off to get at them.

Re: Grill Removal?

On my 78, there are 2 or 3 phillips screws on top and 3 on the bottom. Then the whole insert comes out. If you want to remove the entire grill assembly and headlight surrounds, then thats a different story. I havent taken it that far.
