Burb vs truck
I need to replace the metal on the floor of my 63burb where your feet go up near the firewall on both sides.
Here is the right side This is the worst of it. Will patch panels from a Truck be the same? How about this area of the floor? It is on the right side between the front and rear seat. Will a piece of truck floor work? Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Burb vs truck
The pieces from the seat foward will fit no problem, I replaced both sides on my suburban. However from the seat back is a differennt story. I didn't have to replace mine but the floor does change from the seat back. Might have to do some of your own fab work.

Re: Burb vs truck
I agree with rossboss.
The forward floor area is identicle to the trucks. The passenger side outer floor and inner rocker is different than on a truck, and of course from the B-pilar back is specific to the Suburban. Also the rear 'cab mounts' are different on the Suburbans.

Re: Burb vs truck
the passenger floor has a "step" in it for the rear seat passengers to enter. so this is very different from the truck.
however I did see a guy on this board fix his up with the truck stuff, and just delete the step, his was very rusty. I will try to find the thread and pics for ya' as stated the front floor pans and foot wells and outer rockers will work with truck patch panels. you will probably just have to fabricate the step portion with some sheet metal. capt. and I posting the same thing at almost the same time..
