Here is my latest addition: 1966 GMC Custom Suburb, 3-Owner from IL (yes it has some northern rust issues), all Custom Trim, all three seats w/orig teal upholstery and ALL FOUR SLIDER LATCHES, 305 V-6 and automatic.
Located in GA now (last 17 years).

I will pick up in about two weeks after I make the trek from WA state.

Nice score...looks complete. Also looks like the usual rust work, but I can overlook this for complete. Cant wait to see a build thread.

I need to figure out how to paste quotes in my reply.

My thoughts exactly ---- this thing is totally complete,
down to the orig radio.
No build thread as yet ---- will patch fenders, replace
rockers and other rust ---- get it driveable until I finish
the frame-off on the 66 Chev Suburb!!!

this one is in GA and I'm headed that way soon.

I sold the 65 Chev Suburban w/283, PG, A/C, P/S & P/B
the 62 GMC Custom Suburb, the 65 GMC Suburb & the
rebuilt 64-66 short bed rolling chassis.
Only have one 65 Chev Suburb left in WA, my 66 Chev
Suburb (frame-off build) in TN and now this 66 GMC
Custom Suburb ----- do have a 66 Chev Custom Suburb
with 350 & big 4-speed to look @ when I get back East...

Made the trip to TN, SC & GA ---- got a visit in with the new Suburb ---- lots of new pics. Some real interesting discoveries (other than expected rust -- all repairable). Will download and post pics tomorrow...

Also bought another Suburb --- '65 GMC Custom, 305 v6 (running), 4-speed, P/S, P/B, two owner, low miles, front row seats only & window latches. It's got something really strange --- it's 1/2 ton Suburb w/8-lugs front and rear and get this --- disc brakes on the front. I haven't seen it yet --- only have pics ---- gotta see what's going on with 8-lugs and disc brakes.

Another bit of news ---- nailed down the motor & trans for my '66 frame-off Chev Suburb rebuild. Bought a 1995 Caprice wagon with a 1996 Impala SS LT1, trans, computer, 17" wheels/tires and get this ------ 10,764 actual miles on the running gear ---- out of a garaged '96 Impala SS ---- garage caught fire...
It runs great --- lots of power...........
