5.3 swap fuel pump

I've had my swap done for almost a year now and changed from a in-line pump to a in-tank pump. Any way yesterday right after I started it leaving a fast food place it died and wouldn't restart. After some testing figure out the fuel pump wasn't coming on. Was getting power just wasn't coming on. Got it towed to work where a trailer was to take it home. While at work I tried to start it and it started fine. And after I got it home off the trailer or was fine. So everything seems to work fine now. Why would the pump not work at all and now all of a sudden it does. I drove it for 4 weeks everyday with no problem. And before that I drove it every other week no problem.
