s10 swap wheels backspacing etc.

What would be the best backspacing to use on an s10 swap to move things out just a little bit, maybe cut down on such large spacers?

Re: s10 swap wheels backspacing etc.

I stuck my 18x9.5" wide with 3.5" backspacing torque thrust II's on my buddys truck and they fit almost perfect out back no spacer needed running a 4x4 s10 rearend. I say almost cause the front fender side was perfect, but the back side needs the bedside cut out with a small tub to make me feel safer then my tires sitting 1/4" away from the sheet metal.

Sounds good I am running a 4x4 rear end also. If I went with a more narrow tire do you feel I would have to tub it with 3.5 backspace?

I'm running 4wd rearend, 15x8 wheel with 3in backspacing. Running 235/75s. Works great!

What about in front is a 3" 3.5 move the wheels out to cut down on spacers maybe to a one inch space?

15x7 in front with 1in spacer. Not sure on the backspacing on it though. Its just a stock 7in wheel from a 70 monte carlo.
