pic's on hidden front mounted winch
Per your request, here are some photos. It's a Ramsey 8k commercial winch. It is bolted directly between the frame and behind the bumper. The license plate hinge is from the rear center fill gas tank. The orginal holes were used and longer bolts were substituted. I'm in the stages of mounting a D-Shackle brackets for use with a snatch block. I have some challenges there with the winch between the frame. I think the plan will work. It's just time, money and effort

Awesome, thanks for posting. I still think I want to go with the hidden hitch though, that's pretty awesome, and I'm not always stuck from the front.
