Is there any way to rebuild the original one piece drag link? I have an original and one end is wonky and I don't really want the new three piece one they offer. 72 K2500

Aren't they all 3 piece? How would you center the steering wheel if it was a single piece?

No the adjustables came into being to address things like lift kits, shackles, drop steering arms and steering arm blocks. You might try Hemmings there are companies that rebuild centerlinks and such but I don't know of anyone at the retail level.

What a drag.... anyway I was hoping I could press the bad one out and replace it but it looks like it requires a special tool to keep all the guts in there and peen the edges over. The other guy is right my Dads steering wheel was always a little off from center, I suppose a three piece one has an advantage of being able to center your wheel.
Also does anyone know the proper amount of toe-in required for the front end I just replaced both tie rod ends. I have about an eighth of an inch toe in right now I am pretty sure that is wrong. Thanks Tim, so I have 1/8 or 2/16 I am good. I got lucky. So do you want to be at the lower end of that range or the upper or in the middle.
