Would this be wrong??

Would it be wrong to put in GMC grill in a chevy truck? I found one in LMC that is for a 85-87 GMC that looks really good. I'm pretty sure it would bolt right in.

If you could some how mask the actual GMC logo or remove it, it would be ok. Otherwise, it just wouldn't seem right to have a GMC emblem on a Chevy truck or vice versa. My .02.

I am personally opposed to it. However, if you could remove the emblem, it might be cool.

I put a GMC Burb grille in mine and just left the emblem off....I figure it's all made by GM anyway so what the heck, might as well use what you think looks best.

Well, the one I am looking at does not have the GMC logo in it. I'll have to get a pic of it and post, have to do later as I am at the in-laws now and do not have access to all my stuff.

LMC grilles

Look at the repop GMC grille from LMC they come without a GMC emblem on the front. Nothing wrong with this GMC grille in a Chevy. Most people don't know the difference, just us truck guys.

That's the one I'm looking at. It looks like 3 columns. I wonder if it is chromed or silver, the description does not say.

I have always liked the GMC grilles more than the Chevy grills. I considered doing the same thing on mine.
