Rust in the tank!
Truck was bogging down so i checked the fuel filter in the carb and i seen little hard brown specks would it be better to drop the tank and clean it out or just get another tank?

Re: Rust in the tank!
depends on how good the tank is.. if its not too rusty outside you could have it boiled out at a radiator shop and its almost as good as new

Re: Rust in the tank!
You could splice another in-line filter in and see what happens. Then drop the tank if it still bogs down. My tank was a little dirty and another filter solved the issue.
