68 3/4 ton hubcaps, what fits?
Can anyone tell me what hubcaps fit the 68 3/4 ton wheels? Specifically I am unsure what will fit/clear the protruding rear heavy duty hub? I read a few threads about the 68 caps, but am even more confused now!

Right now I'm using a set off a 73+ these were yellow bow tie with black back ground and black spokes. Proper 68 caps are out there, but are not cheep. what you need is a cap that is about 11 7/8 wide.

It actually depends on which wheels you have. My '68 3/4 ton has the optional 8 1/4" wide x 16.5 steel wheels on it, and uses the small hubcap. Like this only painted not chrome. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=452414 LockDoc

I measured and the caps they need to span 11.5" ish, ir 11 7/8" as you say. So those 73+ caps will clear that protruding 8-bolt rear axle hub?
