Re: a basic user really can't post for sale ad?
One reason is it weeds out scammers who are prevelant on free classified boards. The majority of the sellers on here are great. On free boards you see guys with 1 or 2 posts and joined that day selling things and wonder how long until issues arise.....not every time but it happens quite often. I am a member of other boards with free classifieds and hardly ever sell anything off of them.
It's 25/yr ($2.08/month) to have access to the largest group of classic chevy/gmc truck enthusiasts on the web... I pay for high octane to sell a lot more and have more success here than on ebay or craigslist... Posted via Mobile Device

Good point I'm sure.
My project got a bit overwhelming and I'm trying to sell it the best way possible, thought this might be a good place. Can I pay for the upgrade, cancel and then downgrade? |

You could pay 1month high octane for 15...otherwise the 25 covers you for a full yr buy wouldn't be refundable...of course to me selling a project is worth more than $25

Cool...good idea. I think I'm about to buy a new-to-me 64 so it might be worth it to have it.

I have bought a lot of things off this site and been happy with all my purchases. These guys are the best! I plan on getting Premium Membership when I am ready to sell my leftovers. WAY better than ebay!

It's worth it (although I'm currently expired LOL). The difference when sellers are "bought-in" is huge. If you've bought or sold on other sites, it really can be very risky with new members and no accountability. The moderators here to a very good job of policing the rare bad deals as well.

i found the 6 month option and paid on paypal earlier today.
Anyone know how long this takes? I have to get rid of my 65 project truck ASAP before making room for my next one....simple rules of physics and garage space haha |

Re: a basic user really can't post for sale ad?
I always carry a Premium membership because I always have something that pops up that I can sell, I upgraded to "high octane" because I purchased a doner truck that I want to part out. It is a great place to sell parts from old trucks that will never see the road again to keep old trucks that have many more years of life on the road.
