Re: window reg rollers
for the metal pieces the rollers go on :
ya drill the old ones out, put the new metal pieces in, with the rollers in the correct direction, so that they will slide into the guide. ya take a ball peen hammer and start tapping on it, bending the metal, they call this 'peening'. The metal will bend and mushroom. So, whack it a few times and check it, as long as it is snug and doesn't come off and turns freely, you are good. -W |

Re: window reg rollers
my new pin's for the nylon roller is bigger than the old hole when the old one is removed. do i drill out the hole for the new rivet then peen just enough to tighten? or do i have the wrong kit? rollers are the right size though. if i just butt the rivet up to the hole the roller has about 1/16 play and maybe not enough to peen. bought the kit off e-bay, so who knows.
