Thanks!!

Its a solid piece of pressure treated 3/4 plywood. I ground grooves in it and distressed it with chain and other objects to make it look old. Finished it with a blend of black stain from Home Depot

I dig it. Is the box that holds the battery vented in some way? I can see the compressor box is but not the battery?

Yes, I used the same metal to vent the entire other side but tried to hind it close to the side of the bed. I'll try to get a picture of the other side. I wanted to make sure my battery didnt explode!! LOL

No pics necessary, was just making sure. What box is the battery box made from? A bigger ammo box?

I think that was his way of saying, "If you use an Optima, you won't need to vent it."

That ammo box is from a 40MM MK19 grenade launcher. The box carried 48 linked rounds if I'm not mistaken, wether HE or HEDP.

Re: Bed wood and air tank in... Pictures inside

Just hooked up the last of the wires for the compressor and let it run. Aired up the tank to 75lbs and put some air in the bags. I let it sit over night and checked it today and it held solid at 75lbs. I'm excited no problems yet and might take it off the jack stands tomorrow. If it works out I will have some full pictures of the truck and it will be the first time it sees the outside worls in over a year and a half...

Wish me luck!!!!

Big one looks like a .50 cal can, belt fed stuff. Smaller one I'm not sure, tons of rounds come in roughly the same size can. Probably 5.56/.223 cuz that stuff is everywhere.
