I purchased this with the intentions of building another truck. I have woke up and realized I won't be building another truck for a while. Instead I will be building a pulling tractor.

So, my back up cluster is for sale. It is a cable driven diesel tach. The tach works, I have tested it. It does have the air pressure gauge and an 80lb oil pressure gauge. These gauges are dirty and will need cleaned. the lens on this cluster is pretty nice. The bezel has the choke provision as well. These are getting super hard to find. $350 OBO plus shipping.

Does it matter what diesel the tach is for? I'm wondering if the number of cylinders matters,like with gas. I'm not sure how the cable drive counts RPMs.

I know there are 2 different red lines on the diesel tachs. 2800 and 3200 i believe. Not sure which goes with which engine...

I don't believe it matters on the tach end. I think the gearing will be on the gear box on the engine side, if your engine has one. On the detroits it was off the front gear drive so it was 1:1. I hooked a drill to these tachs, and they work. I don't know the speed of the drill accurately. I'm sure there is a difference depending on what engine you're wanting to use. Ryan.

What year cummins? I have the part numbers for the tach drive for the P-pump style 12v. I'm guessing you need one for a common rail by your screen name?

Parts for a 5.9 cummins. Like 94-02 fan hub, 94-04 nv4500 bell housing, 94-02 engine adapter.

Maybe some 72 extreme bend tow hooks.

Ok, I put these clusters on a truck today. I have to get a new end on the drive cable. The one on mine is too big and I think it is popping out of the input of the tach and causing the tach to bounce. But, these tachs seemed to match the dodge's tach.
