Speedo NOT WORKING???
I recently had my 350 transmission rebuilt and now my speedometer doesn't work. It was working before I replaced the transmission. I even replaced the speedometer cable and still no luck.
Could it be the transmission speedometer unit (I dont exactly know what its called, but it is the little silver unit on the transmission in the picture)??? Any thoughts..........? |

Re: Speedo NOT WORKING???
That silver thing is a ratio adaptor. It screws onto the speedo. Unscrew it and hook your speedo cable back up without it and see if your speedo works.

Re: Speedo NOT WORKING???
It corrects your speedometer. If you swap trannies and your speedometer is not accurate that little gizmo makes it accurate. I'd tell you it's all magic but I'll give you a link instead.
