1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
I have a GMC 4000 truck that I am parting out. I am including pictures and if there is something you see that you are interested in let me know. The body is VERY rusty and I do not see any body panels that are usable unless they have a piece that would make a patch panel. It is a V6 but I am keeping the engine but I do not need the accy. or brackets.
V6 fender emblems- painted SOLD Radio delete- surface rust, clips broken $12.00 Steering Wheel- decent- some cracks $20.00 Horn Button $15.00 Grille letters and bracket- painted SOLD Hood to grille filler panels w/ center part $25.00 for pair Headlight wiring harness- from core support to all 4 headlights $15.00 Inside door panels $20.00 each Headlight trim rings and buckets $25.00 for all 4 All prices are plus shipping. I need zip code to figure shipping Thanks for looking and ask about anything else.

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
I definitely would like the emblems.
Does the truck have a choke cable, and if so, does it have the grey knob? If yes to both, how much do you want for it? Also, are the lenses cracked in the parking lights in the hood? If not, what would you want for them, with the housings? Even if they are cracked, how much do you want for them? My zip code is 83642. Thanks! |

What would it cost in shipping to throw the grill letters and bracket in too?

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
Choke knob looks grey in that picture and that parking lens looks good! Just need pricing.
Would you consider just selling the grill letters, and not the bracket? |

For the V6 emblems, Grille letters, Choke and parking lights. $75.00 plus shipping. Shipping would be $13.50 Parcel Post with the bracket or $11.35 Priority Mail with out the grille bracket.

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
One more choke cable picture.
Yes it does have a metal fan shroud. The shroud is in pretty good shape and even has the material around the edge but it has an area around the fan open that is messed up- bent, damage or something. $35.00 plus shipping.

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
How much shorter is the choke cable? Mine was cut off at the firewall, so I cannot verify how long it is supposed to be.
Sorry for all the questions!! |

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
OK, lets go for it! Parking lenses and housings, Fender Emblems, Grille letters and bracket, and the choke cable. I might as well take the bracket too, so I'll go for the parcel post.
Looks like I owe you $88.50. Do you use paypal? If so, you can IM me your address, and I will send it today! If not, let me know where you want me to send the money. I'll be off and running for a while today, but will check in later tonight. Thanks!! |

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
I will need to remove them to get a shipping quote but I am asking $100.00 plus shipping for the power steering pump, pump pulley and brackets. The engine does not run so I can not check the pump operation. I have also been told this set up will not work on a 1/2 truck engine because this engine has a tall water pump. I am not sure if other stuff can be changed to make it work or not but it does look different then the other p/s pumps I have seen on other V6 trucks in pictures. If you are still interested in the p/s, do you need any other pulleys?
Thanks, Todd

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
If you are talking about the trim that surrounds the headlights and attaches to the grill, they were very rusted and not worth saving. I do have the buckets and the trim rings that the headlight bulb fastens into. Thanks

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
Thanks, Have a good weekend.
Some more information I found out about the p/s set up. I was told the front cover of the engine will bolt up to any V6 engine, so that would let the tall water pump be installed on a 1/2 ton engine and I was told that a tall water pump set up will fit under the hood of a 60-66 truck. So with everything up front this should work on a 1/2 ton truck. I am wanting to keep the engine so I really do not want to seperate the front cover from the engine unless I had another one to install back on it.

Re: 1961 ? GMC 4000 Parts
Hey. Whats the condition on the stainless of those vent windows?? Pics of those possibly.. I may be interested in the driver side as mine is rotted away. If you can do a deal on the set I may just do that. Thanks.
