I hate waiting!!!

Found a 1960 GMC 1/2ton on craigslist last night and I am anxiously waiting for a reply back to my emails. Sorry...had to vent.

Re: I hate waiting!!!

DON'T SAY THAT!!! LOL It looks like a "legit" ad but nowadays it's hard to tell. I think I just need to be a little more patient...yeah right.. Anyways, the truck is exactly what I've been looking for and I sent the emails kinda late last night. I'm hoping to get a response here in a couple/few hours.

Re: I hate waiting!!!

I hope you end up with it. That price is a steal. Some of the parts are worth the asking price. It has the early wide windshield trim, deluxe side trim, chrome grille and bumper, a nice looking tailgate, and of course the early GMC hood. It may even have the ultra rare back of cab trim.

Good luck!

If I lived just a little close we would be in a bidding war. But it's a nice diamond in the rough. I don't see a lot of gmcs around either

Re: I hate waiting!!!

The truck is now mine (paid $400), I will be going back with a trailer this evening to pick it up. It didn't want to start for us, but I could tell that it was trying to. I think with some fresh gas it will run. I'll get some pics tomorrow. Thanks.

Re: I hate waiting!!!

Outstanding! I'm glad to hear you got it. Even at the asking price I'm amazed it would last longer than a day.

Re: I hate waiting!!!

IIRC I was the 2nd person he called, third in the list of emails, but the first to show up with cash. I'm stoked, gonna leave in a few to get the trailer and haul her home. The guy said it has something like 160K original miles.

No I haven't seen that one. I kinda got tunnel vision and was focused on the gmc. We'll have to meet up sometime and talk trucks.
