transmission linkage

hi guys i have a 1950 chev truck and i have the mustang 2 front end and the classic performance parts steering column and i need a brake pedal rod for my brake booster under the cab so i can get my transmission linkage hooked up to my column end does anyone have any pictures of what they have done with there brake pedal rod and transmission linkage any help would be appreciated thank you

I think Orrie has a photo in his stuff of the pedal, rod and booster on his 56 (?) Task force truck. That won't be an exact match to your 50 but it will give you some good ideas.

As the push rod runs some distance you want it to be very stout.

I made my own brake bracket in 1985 to use the stock pedal and 74 truck mc under the floor. This build I decided to add a booster and based my design on aftermarket approaches with some enhancement (in my mind), details are in the build thread towards the start. Because of the column I used, the auto trans shift linkage and brake pedal intersect. I used a B&M race cable shifter and adapted it to my column (82 Eldorado). That is in the build thread too. My truck is a 59 but, like Mr48 said principle is the same.
