Vent window whistle
Is there a way to adjst the vent window so it will close tighter?
My driver side vent window whistles on the highway and if I pull on the vent window handle the whistle stops.

Re: Vent window whistle
i have seen people put paper between the handle and vent window frame and stop the noise....that would be one way....a book of matches works good...

Re: Vent window whistle
i think the handle has a roll pin holding it on.. might see if a new roll pin would make it tighter....

Re: Vent window whistle
Is the rubber dried out and hard, maybe even shrunk with time?

Re: Vent window whistle
Most vent knobs are under tentions via a spring washer, replacements are out there from LMC, I think. Check it out. The spring washer plus the shape of the knob force tighter tention on the window frame to seal it tighly.
Just my 2 cents..
