55-57cab on a 58?
Hey guys what are teh cab differences between the 55-57 cab and the 58 cab? Will a 55-57 cab work on a 58?

body mounts and fender mounts are the same, should bolt right in place.

I think that the hood attaches differently on the 58-59 but I think you can work with it.

The only difference that you need to modify it the hood mounts at the cab.
There are several differences but they don't affect mounting. |

You will need to trim the frame rails about 3" and relocate the bumper bracket holes so the fenders and rest of clip will fit. Rad support, crossmember and front spring mounts are the same.

If you don't mind me asking, why are you swapping cabs? I was thinking this exact same thing because of rust in the roof (DUH) and I'm sure I can find a good cab somewhere out here in the desert part of TX. I have a '58 also.

Replacing the roof and inner panel isn't all that hard. Cost is 3 or 4 hundred dollars. If you cab is otherwise good just put on new parts.
