Cool 1968 Extended cab, anyone?

Check out this truck...

I would assume that a lot of you have seen it, but I'm kinda new.

Does anyone know who converted it for the forestry service? Has anyone else done this? I think it would be pretty wild to build one of these, today. Maybe a little less extension on the cab with a shortbed, and 4 wheel drive. Like a 1967-72 Z-71. Or as a stepside. Maybe it would be a good conversion for all those longbed stepsides looking for a place amongst the classics of the GM trucks. No offense to anyone who owns one, though. I like those, too. But cut 2 feet off the front of the bed and put one of these on. I know that more difficult body modifications have been done to cars and trucks.
I'm just learning adobe Photoshop and I'm trying to get an idea what it would look like raised a bit like a 4x4. So far i need better, and the right size, tires and wheels. But I think I like my results so far. Definitely unique!

The last owner of this truck used to be a member here.
Try a search, you'll get alot of info on these. I also have a page on my longhorn site dedicated to rare and extended cabs...I think I have 3 or 4 variations of 'stock' extended and super cabs.
