Hello from Indiana
Hi,
Just bought a 59 step side Apache today! This is my first old car/truck after many years of Harleys. She's in decent shape, but needs some work. She has a 305 V8 with the original 3 on the tree. Just wanted to introduce ourselves on the forum. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions for you guys. Here's a picture from tonight. JJ |

Re: Hello from Indiana
Thanks for the kind words! Gotta get some seat belts fast. The kids really want to go for rides! Any suggestions on ways to install shoulder belts? Not sure where to start....

Re: Hello from Indiana
The truck looks great, wish mine had been that nice when I got it. Be careful, seeing what others are doing on this fourm will make you want to spend a lot more money than you originally intended, LOL.
Some have gotten their seatbelts from a junk yard but you can also buy them new from several different places. I got mine from Juliano's. Here's a link to a how-to on installing belts in a TF. http://www.bobshotrods.com/howto/3-p...chevy-pick-up/ Last edited by Russell Ashley; 10-18-2012 at 05:47 PM. Reason: left off the link |
