Bed interchanging
Does beds can be interchanged? (retrofitted)
For example a 66 will fit a 1970 or vice versa, a 75 fleetside would fit a 69 stepside? Obvious that there might be some fabrication.. Anyone has experience with this?? Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Bed interchanging
When we first converted my '67 lwb to a swb we put a early 90's stepside bed on it. It fit ok, but we had to use some square tubing and spacers to make it line up.
I kept the truck that way for a couple of years before we started fixing the truck up.
