Air Fittings - Where to buy? Online? Local?
Where is everyone purchasing their air fittings?
From an online retailer? From a local business? Locally we have Fastenal and other truck outfitters, but just curious where everyone is purchasing their air fittings. Since the majority of these trucks and other cars are riding on air ride, users should be concerned with quality over price.

Where ever you get them,... just make sure the line and fittings are DOT approved.
Member/Vendor way2lo2 should be able to hook you up.

Re: Air Fittings - Where to buy? Online? Local?
I've gotten mine from the FleetPride Semi parts distributer in Oklahoma City. Its probably more expensive than online, but they have a pretty good selection as long as you use 3/8" and up fittings. Smaller than that and they're selection is much less.

Re: Air Fittings - Where to buy? Online? Local?
We found a place in Fenton Mo, Crest, www.crestmidwest.com they have them in stock DOT approved they sell automotive replacement fastners etc to the auto industry but have a small lobby for walk in. If you are ever in the area and have a list of what you need. that is where we picked up the brass ptc swivel 90's connectors. and their prices are comparable if not cheaper than others considering you can save shipping.

Re: Air Fittings - Where to buy? Online? Local?
If you make a trip to ur local body shop that does insurance work find out where they purchase their replacement hardware required for insurance repairs. Their parts suppliers sell to anyone who walks in the door and love cash sales. But they have huge inventories for everything from huge semi-trucks to motorcycle hardware. Usually on hand or quickly available because of who they support. Smaller hardware such as screws n washers are usually bagged of 25 or 50 but are so reasonably priced the box stores can't compete. Air fittings though were individually priced. Air fittings are DOT approved for the application because of their customer base they support. When these guys buy stuff they buy in bulk and after pricing fittings on line. Prices for PTC fittings are real reasonable.
