17" steel wheels
Got a line on some stock 1961 Chevy 17" steel 6 lug truck rims. Width unknown. Will they fit on my 1987 Stepside? I have drum brakes. Not sure if this has been done, but nothing found with search function. Tempted to grab them and stash them until I get to that point in the project.

You didn't specify if your 87 was 2wd or 4wd. If it's 2 they won't fit as it's 5 lug.

i doubt they are stock 61' 17's & if they are they would be like 6 in wide..

They look pretty narrow, but the lug count kind of nips this idea in the bud. Maybe off an old farm truck. Thanks guys.
