new from Louisiana 65 Chevy SWBFS

Plans include: ditch the 20s for some steelies, fix the problems that are keeping her from being road worthy, maybe a hot rod flatz paint job, put all chrome bumpers and stainless trim back on and drive the **** out of it!!!!!

Welcome, we're not too far apart. I'm in Lacombe, LA. just west of Slidell. You're just up Hwy. 16, we should hook up and talk trucks. Check into joining the Louisiana Classic Truck Club

Re: new from Louisiana 65 Chevy SWBFS

Will post some more pics as soon as i can...I'm deployed so connectivity is limited...i'll prolly start a build thread...picked up a big back window cab, new set of doors, and dropped it off at poypeyes rod shop in carencro, LA to get a new back half, redo front suspension, brakes and steering. He is suppose to be sending me some pics.

Re: new from Louisiana 65 Chevy SWBFS

pic from the day i picked it up

the first time i laid eyes on it

the original owner of the truck thought it would be a good idea to just cut random holes in the truck...Jerry(original builder) said it was an older guy...so maybe it was altymers..dunno...im going to fix it for sure tho.

this is what the power plant looked like when I got it

this is what the rear suspension looked like when I got it (currently being redone by Poypeyes Rod Shop)

I already picked up a BBW Cab and two new doors for it

Im going to start a build thread and that is where i will start posting pics of progress
